Advantage Driving Academy is the only driving school in the Columbia area that is endorsed by the National Safety Council!  We are located in the Irmo area and serve the Chapin, Irmo, West Columbia and USC Campus areas.

The classroom portion will be held on the 1st Saturday of each month. Refer to the "Services and fees" page for costs and the "Class Dates" page for dates.

4 - Point Reduction Classes

Alive at 25 Classes

Advantage: Driver's Education

We offer a high-quality classroom and behind the wheel experience that combines real classroom lecture instruction with intense lesson-planned behind the wheel training.

The classroom experience is engaging and involves all students. We combine thorough review of driving law with drivng technique and defensive driving tactics.

The student then receives a continuity of training by following up the classroom experience with 6-hours of comprehensive behind the wheel training which reviews the lecture topics with real-life driving situations.

Advantage: Alive at 25     

We also offer the National Safety Council's Alive at 25 programwhich focuses on the Behaviors of driving instead of the Mechanics of driving. Alive at 25 is a Survival course developed by the National Safety Council and is designed to prevent the number 1 killer of teens, automobile crashes.

Advantage: 4-Point Reduction

We offer an 8-hour, 4-point reduction class which we schedule every other Saturday.  This class is a comprehensive driver improvement course which concentrates on driver behavior as well as some of the mechanics of driving.  Students which need to have points off of their license or want a discount on their auto insurance** may attend.
